I was taking enamelling class and the glossy texture and pattern that can be created by enamel amazed me. I made a lot of enamelling chips to try what I can do with enamelling. 

Understanding the color and condition changes by the time the piece laid in the kiln, I tried different ways to create interesting texture. For example, I cut out patterns and placed a sterling silver wire on the piece show on the left. The clear enamel creates a glossy reflection near the edges that creates a different feeling from a normal metal piece. And the wire that stick out makes the piece stands out from a flat enamel chip.
